Health and Safety Measures at MAGIC Pop-Up Orlando

COVID-19 Testing: Ensuring a Safe Environment

Delivering on our aim to provide all of our guests with the highest levels of safety at our events, we will be requiring all guests and staff to produce a negative COVID test in order to enter show. Guests can either opt to take a free COVID-19 rapid test on-site OR pre-test prior to arrival at our event. Details can be found below:


PRE-TESTING

You have the option to test at a location and time preferable to you, starting on or after February 5. Once you arrive onsite and to receive your health screening wristband, you will need to show proof of your negative test at a “Pre-Test Verification Desk” on-site.

Pre-test must be administered on, or after, Friday, February 5 and will be accepted from the following testing sites: American Family Care (AFC), Costco/AZOVA, CVS Health, Discovery Health MD, GoHealth Urgent Care, Walgreens or any State Approved Testing Facility.  A full list of available testing facilities can be found at your State Health Department website or the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services website (HHS).  Vist the HSS Website »


ON-SITE TESTING

Free onsite testing will be available to ALL exhibitors and attendees, with a variety of appointment dates and times available - and getting you into the event quickly.

On-site testing will be available at The Orange County Convention Center, West Concourse Hall D2, for attendees and exhibitors beginning Sunday, February 7—Appointments are strongly encouraged for the most expedited experience.

Guests will have the option to choose from a wide variety of available date/times, selecting an appointment time that works best for their schedule. For guests with an appointment, the testing process from arrival to results will take approximately 30 minutes.

Orlando Health is a not-for-profit healthcare organization headquartered in Orlando, Florida.  With a facility located across the street from the OCCC, Orlando Health has partnered with the convention center and Informa Markets to provide medical services and CDC guidance to MAGIC Pop-Up Orlando customers, contractors and employees who are feeling unwell or receive a positive COVID-19 test onsite.

Abbott Laboratories

Abbott Laboratories has supplied 25,000 of its *BinaxNOWTM COVID-19 Ag Card rapid test kits. BinaxNOWTM is a portable, rapid test intended for the qualitative detection of nucleocapsid protein antigen from SARS-CoV-2 in nasal swabs from individuals suspected of COVID-19. Test delivers results in under 15 minutes with demonstrated sensitivity of 97.1% and specificity of 98.5% in clinical study.

U.S. Mobile Health Exams

U.S. Mobile Health Exams

U.S. Mobile Health Exams will provide onsite testing services at MAGIC Pop-Up Orlando.  Based in Jacksonville, FL, U.S. Mobile Health Exams is a *CLIA (Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments) certified mobile health testing service that is approved to administer the BinaxNOWTM COVID-19 Ag Card rapid test. USMHE is managed under the care of Medical Director Brian W. Maziarz, M.D.

OUR INFORMA ALLSECURE: OUR COMMITMENT TO YOUR SAFETY

The event will be organized in accordance with Informa AllSecure health and safety standard. MAGIC Pop-Up Orlando will feature over 100 hand sanitization units, 20-foot wide aisles, contactless registration, daily temperature screenings, enhanced cleaning, and more.


 

Cleaning and Hygiene 

Under Informa AllSecure standards, MAGIC Pop-Up Orlando will facilitate cleaning and hygiene through the following processes:

ENHANCED CLEANING  

There will be continuous sanitation throughout the course of the event, with a focus on ‘high-touch areas’ such as door handles, restrooms and food and beverage areas.  Alcohol wipes will be distributed to exhibitors prior to show open to disinfect booth surfaces throughout the day.

PERSONAL HYGIENE

 The OCCC West Hall has 43 fixed and 13 portable hand sanitizers in the public spaces. MAGIC Pop-Up Orlando will provide additional hand sanitizing stations, 1 per 4,000 sq ft, throughout the show floor, and encouraging all participants to regularly wash and disinfect their hands.

INCREASED AIR CIRCULATION

 With a MERV rating of 13-14 and newly replaced filters on or near February 1, the OCCC’s HVAC systems will remain running 24-hours a day throughout the course of the event, designed to introduce fresh air into the building on a constant basis.

Physical Distancing

Under Informa AllSecure standards, MAGIC Pop-Up Orlando will facilitate physical distancing through the following processes:

NON-CONTACT REGISTRATION

Through increased use of technology, MAGIC Pop-Up Orlando aims to minimize lines and entry transactions. Visitors are encouraged to register online before the show enabling barcode scanning for contactless entry. Registration counters will have a partition between visitors and registration staff.

CROWD DENSITY STANDARD (CDS) 

MAGIC Pop-Up Orlando will have 20’ and larger traffic aisles and the use of social distance ambassadors. Credential scanning upon entering and exiting the exhibit hall will allow show management to monitor the number of people on the show floor to ensure that each person is physically able to maintain 6’ of distance.

PHYSICAL DISTANCING

MAGIC Pop-Up Orlando is following a 3-foot radial distance / 6 feet of physical distance per person. One- way entrances and exits into and in the building including exhibit halls. Lounges, table rounds, seating areas will be arranged to ensure social distancing.  Elevators and Restrooms will have capacity controls

Detect and Protect

Under Informa AllSecure standards, MAGIC Pop-Up Orlando will facilitate required health protocol and assistance through the following processes:

TEMPERATURE SCREENINGS

MAGIC Pop-Up Orlando will screen all guests for elevated (over 100.4F) temperatures via thermal temperature scanning prior to exhibit hall entry.

PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT (PPE)

All guests will be required to wear a face mask upon entry to OCCC. Masks will be available on-site if a guest does not have their own.

FIRST AID

MAGIC Pop-Up Orlando will have access to a qualified first aid responder for any immediate medical needs or medically-related questions.
